This trip focus on the Kruger-2-Canyon Biosphere Reserve and include savannah, afro-montane forests, riverine forest and fynbos habitats where 500+ bird species occurs.

Day 1 - 2, Southern Kruger
- Road transfer from Kruger Mpumalanga International Airport to the Kruger National Park
- Accommodation in a Kruger Rest Camp, 2 bed chalets
We will spent the next two days visiting bird hides and doing morning and afternoon drives in Southern Kruger. The Kruger National Park is host to 400+ bird species.
Possible species: Martial Eagle, Wahlberg’s Eagle, African Fish Eagle, Saddle-billed Stork, Kori Bustard, Secretary bird, White-headed Vulture, Lapped-faced Vulture, Bateleur, Brown Snake-eagle, Purple Roller, Broad-billed Roller, Carmine Bee-eater, Senegal Lapwing, Southern Ground-Hornbill, Red-breasted Swallow, Black-headed Oriole, Marico Sunbird, Violet-backed Starling, Long-tailed Paradise Whydah, Green-winged Pytilia, Sabota Lark, Stierling’s Barred-warbler, Melodious Lark, Comb Duck, Green Wood-Hoopoe, Hammerkop, White-crowned Lapwing and many, many more.
Day 3, Central Kruger
Day 4, Mariepskop Reserve

Day 5, Blyde River Canyon
- Early morning forest birding walk: Narina Trogon, Green Twinspot, Cape Batis, Scaly-throated Honeyguide
- 2 hour Boatride on Blyde Dam: African Finfoot, Half-collared Kingfisher, Trumpeter Hornbill, Crowned Eagle
- Lunch
- Afternoon riverine forest walk along Blyde river: Crowned Eagle, Yellow-rumped Tinkerbird, Bearded Scrub-robin, White-throated Robin-chat, Giant Kingfisher, Malachite Kingfisher
- Lodge accommodation in Hoedspruit
Day 6, Departure
DepartureReturn road transfer from Hoedspruit to Johannesburg with a birding stop en-route in Dullstroom to pick up on some grassland species like Ant-eating chat, Buff-streaked chat, Blue Crane, Crowned Crane, Long-tailed Widow bird and many more
